So over the summer I took a trip to Texas and I was taking videos so that when I got home I could makes one long video of the whole trip. The problem is I was taking videos on my phone and on my Canon. Is there anyway I can put the two sizes of video together so that it looks good.

I have recorded on both my Canon Camcorder and my Smartphone during my trips and I simply just transfer all the videos from both of them together in a folder where I will make the video and then edit it on Vegas or Premiere Pro. Both qualities looks similiar to each other and they were both good. It really all depends on how good you wish to make it look! Both of them records 1080p so they should look well when blended in with each other.

I have a great technique for it, import your canon videos in Premiere Pro and place a video on the timeline first, it will directly fix the aspect ratio and video quality according to the best resolution, you can then import and combine your phone videos in the timeline and it will automatically adapt the resolution. Make some changes in the colour grading panel on an adjustment layer to adjust the colours.

This sounds as if it should work! Why would there be any issue combining the footage anyway. If you put it straight in your Premier Pro timline, as long as they are the same frame rate, all should be good!?
