  Phasing out a stabilizer

  Hi there
  I was wondering how I would go about phasing out a null that is used as a stabilizing layer.
  I’m guessing that it has to do with multiplying the Delta by a decreasing number until I hit zero which phases it out completely, but i’m not that sure how to go about it.

  Any thoughts you REALLY smart folks?
