I am trying to create a space battle scene, which involves using ‘Lexpro’s Energy Weapons’ Library.

However, the problem I’m facing is that I can’t get the beam to stop where it should (once it’s hit another ship). I tried using blockers to get it to stop where I want, but that’s time-consuming and the results aren’t always the best.

I read somewhere that the Life of the emitter can be adjusted to allow it to stop where I wanted it to. However, I tried doing that, and the beam still carries on off the screen, it’s just shorter. Could someone please elaborate on this method, step-by-step, so I can get it to work?

Or, if anyone has any other suggestions about how I can do this, that would be fantastic.

    Thanks in advance.

Maybe you could set the visibility to zero at hit time?
