phantom workflow for log and transfer
howdy folks.
so i have .cine files on a drive from the phantom tech and i need to transcode the fun footage. going to do it through fcp and i got the glue tools thing plugin. i’m set to rock and roll, but it says in log and transfer that the directory structure is off. not sure how it’s suppose to be setup and i can’t find an appropriate google answer.
on the drive the tech set it up as follows.
2010_12_07 -> Phantom Cines -> C_Cam_1 -> (all the glorious .cine files).
is that right or do i have to rename …i know with p2, if it’s not right, fcp won’t read it and i thought it might be the same issue with this.
any ideas would be much appreciated and it would be sweet to save money on this and not hire someone, since i have the software.

Why log and transfer? Doesn’t glue tools allow direct import?
