Alrighty, so i am in need of some help. My Phantom power box (Neewer NW-100) Is supposed to supply my 48v. My mic is the Audio Technica ATR-2100. (uSB/XLR) No the usb mod works fine. But when i used the xlr to my phantom power it has a really bad buzz. *How i have it connected*

So first i have the mic, it then goes into my phantom power box’s only input. Then the Out put goes straight into my computer via USB. And the pre-amp Is plugged into it’s own socket. Yet when i record i get MAD buzzing. Any help would be much appreciated.

Hello William and welcome to the Cow Audio Forum.

According to the spec sheet, the mic is a dynamic mic. Dynamic mics don’t require Phantom Power. Remove the phantom power supply from the chain and see how that works.
