phantom flex cine files to dpx workflow
has anyone been able to work successfully with phantom flex cine files on the resolve. ?
i converted my cine files to dpx on the mac resolve, and moved it over to my linux box. however i seem to have lost a lot of detail especially in the whites and mids. usually with phantom files you can recover all the details by bringing up the highlights and blacks or vice versa.
I did a test, unfortunately i can’t post up the images due to it not being aired, on a windows computer using a phantom converting program. so i took my cine files converted it to .mov. moved it to my mac resolve then converted it to dpx. with that workflow, i was able to get a crisp file with all the details attached to it. but the conversion and moving process took hourssss of my time. am i doing something wrong in my initial conversion process from cine to mac to linux or is resolve mac not able to convert cine files just yet.
