Quick question as I have never received .cine files and need to do a grade & transcode of some files straight from a Phantom camera (about 30mins) for an editor. Its not clear if they will need to come back for a final pass of color at this point.

I did a search first but there is not much recent stuff on here for Resolve 9 full dongle version as far as I can tell. I am curious to get some advice and determine how long a transcode to ProRes would take – does it use GPU??

Anything I should be aware of about workflow, color science, or node structures / LUT’s I am better off using??

    Thank you
