  • pesky audio plugins, why don’t they work?

    Hi everybody!
Some years ago we bought the “Masters Bundle” from Waves for our MC 12 (which runs on a 867Mhz G4 with OS X 10.2.8). Although Waves doesn’t support MC everything was fine. The one and only plugin we use of the three included is the “LI al2”, a great brickwall limiter. Good but expensive.
Now after a disk-crash the authorization was dead, but Waves gave us a new one written to an iLok-dongle. We had to use the version 5 of the plugins instead of version 4.0.3 which worked without a single problem before the crash occured. Like the former plugins the new version is installed in a plugin folder which is inside the application package.
When I open the audiosuite tool the waveshell seems to load, but it never appears in the dropdown menu, where all the plugins are listed.
If anyone could give me a clue to whats going on there I’d be really thankful. I already spent days on this. Maybe there is someone out there who has Waves plugins running with a similar configuration? Please let me know.
    Thank you
    Sven
