Perspective Corner Pin without Position keyframes?
Hi
I work with an interactive After Effect / Flash project. I have made a movie in AE with people holding billboards etc onto which interactive data is going to be projected with Flash.
I have tracked my billboards with the Corner Pin Perspective tracker. Problem is, that when I apply the tracking to a solid (from which I will later export data to Flash) it aplies not only Corner Pin keyframes, but also Position keyframes. This doesn’t work for me, I need the solid’s position itself to be static, the illusion of movement and distortion only being “created” by the Corner pin effect itself.
Any way to achieve that?

If you track with Mocha then you can export only Corner Pin data.

thanks. I’m a bit hesitant to involve Mocha since I want to have a simple workflow (sometimes tracking has to be done in comps within comps etc) but if I find no other way I’ll try it.

I believe you will find Mocha to be very easy to work with in any workflow – just track the clip you need, export data and paste to your layer in AE.

Problem with Mocha, if i understand correctly, is that you have to use it with already rendered files. I want to track items in precomps. Any solutions not involving Mocha?
