Personalized tracking effect on Motion 5
Hello,
I’m new to this forum. I’m from Switzerland (apologies in advance for my poor English).
I’m currently working on a video clip using Final Cut Pro 10. In certain sequences, I need to hide faces with scribbles, and some characters are in motion. I’ve created my scribbles with transparency in Gimp and saved them as PNG files. Could someone explain the method for me to create an effect in Motion 5 that will allow me to use my scribbles and track the movement of faces in Final Cut Pro? What I’m asking is how to create a tracking effect in Motion 5 that can be used in Final Cut Pro 10 afterward. Thank you in advance for your help. Best regards.

There are tons of free/cheap plugins that do this already. I’d not try to reinvent the wheel. And Motion’s built-in tracking won’t translate into a Template for FCPX.
