permanently change default swatch
How do I change the default colour swatch in Illustrator permanently?
It’s currently filled with colours and patterns i never use. I’m sick of deleting them and want to change my set up permanently.
I found a tutorial elsewhere which explains how to do so, by searching for a file in your plugins folder, but this file does not exist in CS4, only CS2/3.

You can setup your swatch palette, brushes, etc., and “save as template”. Then do “new from template”.
There used to be a way to save a blank Illustrator file with all of that set, into a folder somewhere in the program directory so each time you opened Illustrator it would open with this blank document setup with your favorite colors, etc.
