i got a couple of the 4TB 2 big thunderbolts with no complaints. Just as quick as advertised, pretty quiet, not alot of heat. Been going on em about 6months now.

I have the 6TB model. Very cool to touch. Fast. Mostly quiet. My model makes a strange tweeting noise every so often which LaCie said is due to the specific drives they use. I got used to it, but worth noting.

Several LaCie drives over the last 12 months have worked without a hitch.

Been using several Promise and Lacie TB Raids and drives since last year, no issues so far.
