  • Pen tool shortcut for sound keyframes?

    Hi,

I know you can manually set a keyframe in the Audio Panel but is there an option where you can set one by just clicking P as you can in FCP7?

Also, I find it annoying how it sets a really tight fade out and I would like to adjust the value of this fade in music without having to put another audio keyframe in the middle and adjust that. Is there anyway to do this?

    Thanks

Not sure I understand ur second question, but the “shortcut” to creating audio key frames is to option click while hovering over the audio line. (same method as in fcp7)

I haven’t found a keyboard shortcut for creating an audio keyframe.

Oh yes… you can add keyframes with keyboard shortcut!
Select the audio level line than press Option+K.
    That’s all. 🙂

wow…thanks for this shortcut. I was dying trying to get this to work.

It’s strange behavior…because you can’t just select the clip then use the keyboard shortcut, you have to actually click on the audio line.

You should be able to just select the audio clip and press opt+K, then create keyframe. No good reason I see to have to click on the line, in fact if you aren’t paying attention…you might change the level on accident.

I agree Jason… We should write this request to Apple.

Hmm, must be doing something wrong. Doesn’t work for me.

Thank you! I was also fighting this issue for a long time.
