pen tool doubt
Pen tool doubt.
I have a triangle path with points in all 3 joints of the triangle. Now I want to start another path from one of the points and extend to the center of the triangle. how do I start the new path from an already existing point? If I bring the pen tool to the point it changes into a – (delete point tool)… + (add point tool) works only on a path, not on point. but I want to start the new path from a point.
hope my question is clear
actually I want to draw a bit complex shape. but I have simplified it as a triangle.

Draw the new path with the pen tool, apart from the triangle. Then use the Direct Select tool to move the 2 new points into your desired position.
You can’t actually add a second path from a point. It has to be a separate object.Vince
