Would like to put together a mbp and a panel into a pelican for smaller jobs and getting my feet wet with some grading work.

After months or longer of studying up am I right to assume that those on here who are trying to- get “as cheap as possible REC709″ monitoring- missing the boat?

My goal is to have a decent 10-12bit environment which can handle 3D LUT’s AND Davinci’s 444RGB

Resolution falls below colorspace for my needs (meaning I don’t want to drag a 27” panel around)

    thanks for your input- JE

Maybe the 17″ Sony OLED or the 17″ Flanders LCD with 10bit panel?
