    Hello guys,

Couple questions. I have a pegasus promise 2 r6 in raid 5 with 6x2tb raid drives. It has been filled up. So I need to upgrade the r6 to larger drives, and possibly transfer this information to the new raid. Or hold those drives somewhere safe incase I needed to access that footage again?

What is the best way to do this? Is there a good way to do this? Also what drives do you recommend for the new drives? I notice that there are only 5 SATA drives and they are from Seagate or Toshiba, that are currently supported via this link

    https://www.promise.com/media_bank/Download%20Bank/Compatibility/Pegasus2_Compatibility%20List%20v1.1-201301216.pdf

Surely that is just what they’ve tested? Not that I couldnt go buy some Ultrastars and put them in there? Or use the new seagate 5TB drives?

    Anyway, thanks for the help.

    Will
