What equipment is everyone using for their PEG channel programming.
We run the original Leightronix Nexus, which has worked fine, but was discontinued a few years ago.
It is time for an update and we’re looking for all our options.
We need to record, store and playback our programming which is sent as an SD signal to our local Cable company’s head end, but if streaming to our school district’s website is an affordable option, that would be a great bonus.

    Any advice?
    Thanks

Check out Tightrope Cablecast. We used to use Nexus but switched a few years ago.

Not sure if you’ve decided already, but we just bought a Castus system. Have yet to actually hook it up, but so far their support has been great, and the new software v.5 looks awesome. We’re coming from an old Telvue Princeton. We also checked out Tightrope and really liked it. Came down to cost in the end.
