  • Peculiar problem when adding text to a project.

Posted by Jan Bliddal on April 23, 2006 at 12:10 am

Finishing an 78minut project with a lot of self contained sequences I was adding text to the individual sequences before nesting them together. One of the sequences which happend to be the sequence that needed the most text do to It many shift of location would not let me overwrite text to the videotrack about the video track below. I Got the Insufficient content dialog, but I have more than enough content. I was able to bypass the problem by adding the text to the finished sequence, but it would have been faster it I had been able to jump from clip to clip and adding text where needed instead of having to watch the intire nested sequence. No problem with the 6 other sequences.

Sounds like you were either doing and overwrite with In and Out points in the sequence that were longer than the duration allowed for the title, or you tried to do a superimpose edit and the clip underneath the title exceeded the available duration of the title.

    All the best,

    Tom
