  PDW-U2 will not write Premiere MXFs

  Hey guys,

  I don’t get it.

  Last Friday I exported an MXF File (XDCAM 1080i25) and wrote it on my PDW-U2 on Professional Disc for Broadcast Use. Everything worked fine.

  Today I’ve wanted to make a second copy for my archive but I always get an error while writing on disc:

  “Failed to import the clip.

  Reason: You don’t have a right to access the file or writing ist prohibited for the file”

  Same File like friday on same system – I changed nothing in this time.

  The strange thing is: Files out of an AVID or an XDCAM Station work fine with Content Browser or while copying over Explorer (or Finder – I’ ve also tested it on MAC). But all Files out of Premiere won’t copy on my disc (sometimes a short test clip work)

  What the hell is that?

  I’ve transcoed an mxf file out of premiere with sony catalyst – that also worked…so there must be something wrong with my MXF FIles out of Premiere but before today that all worked????

  Any Suggestions?

  PC, i7 Windows 8.1. but also testet on Mac Yosemite.

  Thats what I’ve tested:
  I change cable, I’ve testet anoter PC,
  I’ve desintalled driver and reinstalled agaein.
  Run as Administrator
