    PDW-U1 will not format

    Greetings All,

    My U1 works fine for burning material from the nanoFlash to 23 or 50gb discs, but i get an error code (0xA100001A) when attempting to format a disc via xdcam drive utility.

    Thoughts?

    It’s not really pressing, as everything seems to be good, but I’m more curious than anything….

    what version? make sure you are running the correct driver version and that there are no pending firmware updates (check this in the Utility after verifying/installing any updates)

    Apologies Ian and thanks for your help. I thought I was up to date on drivers/firmware, but an update to firmware 2.54 and driver 4.0.1 did the trick – thank you!
