    Hi,

I think I may have missed something. I have cut two or three projects in HD with the intention of mastering to XDCam disc using the PDW-U1.

Using the Output to Device > XDCam function (having already formatted the disc and conformed all the footage to DnxHD120), the following error appears:

    Exception: File_other, filename: etc…

SYS_Error, status 87, msg: The parameter is incorrect.

Across the different projects, the footage has been shot 1080 25P, edited same and exports attempted from 25P and 50i projects.

Does anyone know if the U1 can be used in this way? Also, the settings I’m finding to export seem to indicate HDV/EX3 HQ standards (25/35Mb/s) but my ideal would be to export at HD422 50Mb/s – does anyone know if this is possible and, if so, have I just missed a setting for it?

    Many thanks,
    Richard
