PDW-1500 deck
Has anyone tried to put a disc with HD content recorded on it into the PDW1500 and transfer the files via PC Remote? I’m sure it will not playback to a monitor but all I want to to is use it to import HD clips to FCP.

PDW-1500 is standard def only; you want the PDW-HD1500 which is just starting to come to market. If your Hd material was recorded on PDW-F330/335 or 350/355 cameras a PDW-F70/75 deck will suffice. Also a PDW-U1 reader with latest software will work.

That is what I thought but I figured I would see how much of this old stuff we could salvage as we hove to HD. Thanks for the help.-Brian
