I looked into up grading my laptop the other day. I had great success with a shoot / Edit with a client but they only problem was my render time and export from my 17″ 1 Ghz PowerBook. I looked at the new ones and they now carry the new imporved express card slot that seems smaller then the PCMCIA slot. Is that P2 card slot on my week old camera already out dated? It’s funny kind of because I have had the computer for 3 years and I have never used the card slot before.

I know I can connect a firewire to transfer but it was so fast and nice with the P2 card going into my Laptop.

There are PCMCIA to Expresscard adapters coming. No idea when as I am not making them but you can find on a google search.

Duel-Systems has emailed me confirming that they will make the adapter and it will work with a p2 card.
