I have an HD100 and a Dual 2.0 G5 with a PCI bus and want to bypass the hole HDV thing.

Are there any versions of the latest Blackmagic HD capture cards available in PCI flavour? Only PCIe?

    Thanks

    Andrew

    Hello Andrew,

The HD Extreme, will do what you want as well as would any of the HD cards form Blackmagic. As you will be capturing form your JVC HD100 via the Analogue components outs, so you would need a card from BMD which has the Analogue inoputs for component.

    Thanks,

    Leo

    Hello,

I think it may be PCI-E based. However if you browse the website http://www.blackmagic-design it will tell you if PCI-E or PCI-X.

    Thanks,

    Leo
