PCI slots jumbled on Mac Pro 5,1 using Decklink Quad
Using a Blackmagic Decklink quad installed in a Mac Pro 5,1 running OSX 10.8.5. The card has four inputs /outputs using all four lanes. Before reboot the PCI card identified in system information as slot 3@ 5,0,0 / slot 3 @ 6,0,0 / slot 3 @ 7,0,0 / slot 3 @ 8,0,0. Now after reboots it comes up as slot 3@ 6,0,0 / slot 3 @ 8,0 ,0 / slot 3 @ 5,0 ,0 / slot 7, 0 ,0. This changes the outputs when it happens. Has anyone seen this and is there a way to assign the lanes and lock them
