PC no longer recognizing Canon 7D
I have been importing video and photos from my Canon 7D onto my PC with no problems. Then all of a sudden, one day, my computer stopped recognizing my camera. I’m running Windows 7. Any ideas? Thanks.

Clarify. Is it not reading the cards anymore? Is there something on the cards? Can you read the cards on another computer? Can you plug in a different card reader and read it from that? etc…

I finally broke down and bought a card reader, which works perfectly. So yes, the card has photos on it, but the PC and the camera are no longer on speaking terms.
