I have a 17″ 1.5GHz Powerbook G4. This computer will soon be loaded with Final Cut 5.0.4. Will the PC slot on this Powerbook accept and be able to read p2 cards in Final Cut?

    many thanks.

Yes it does work. But check you levels on output.
I am having a bug where the imported P2 files
converted to QT look at little lighter than the original P2.
It’s hard to really tell what you are shooting.

What are you using to measure this?

Someone said not to rely on the S-vid signal coming out of the camera.
Maybe I am comparing Apples to Oranges. Maybe the component signal is a more accurate guage, I will try that tomorrow.

There’s your problem. If you were looking at a waveform, then we could have this duscussion. Since you are looking through two different sources (S-video/componenet), it’s hard to say. Your S-video is probabaly adding setup to your image, while the componenet might not be which account for a shift in the picture.
