    Greetings all: My video work for local no-profits and local political candidates has got the attention of two online local news portal. I have been asked to discuss their vision for video-content. This is my first paying gig. I plan to do one production for each magazine. I accepted and they like my work, what be a rate for online video streaming?

    Make up a high number – one that you would be more than happy with. When they say “gee, we weren’t thinking about spending that much”, you can say “well, what do you think would be fair” – this will “pressure them” into telling you how much they want to spend, and you can decide if it’s worth your time. Aim high – and then compromise !
