I know this might seem like a simple thing to do, but I am having problems figuring it out. I want to put a linear wipe between two pictures, but instead of the wipe completing, I want it to stop at a certain point. I am using Sony Vegas Pro 11, how can I do this? Thank you.

Place your timeline cursor within the Transition, right-click on the transition and select Insert/Remove Envelope | Transition Progress and adjust the envelope to do whatever you want (stop, go, reverse, etc.).

Wow. I never knew transitions could be paused just like video clips by using envelopes. Thanks so much for the info!!! 😀
