paths from Illustrator to AE (CS3)
On Windows CS3-I think that there is something very odd going on in AE. I create a path in Illustrator, copy and go to AE, new layer solid, paste and AE creates a new layer with the color bars and “Original Source Deleted”. I have set up the correct ACIB settings in Illustrator though I’ve tried both. In this new layer AE creates it shows there is a mask but it’s a mask , rectangle that is around the entire layer. I don’t get it. I see the correct path(s) in the clipboard.

I have no idea what was causing the problem. I restarted AE and now all is working.
