pasting text in AE
hi,
is it normal that i can’t copy text from a program like say ‘Word’ and paste it into a text layer in AE ? …
is there a way so i won’t have to type all the text i want to use again?

Yes that is a problem. I can do it on my machine.
Maybe you can try to ‘paste’ into the ‘basic text’ effect window to see if works from there.Good Luck,

tnx for the help. It didn’t work by pasting into the text window. But i pasted it into illustrator and used that file … was good enough for what i wanted to do …
