pasting text attributes
I’m have a large section of text – captioning – that I want to alter to match another sequence. I am trying to change qualities, like origin, font size, justification of text, etc. Is there a way to do this to multiple text clips on the sequence at once? I used “paste attributes,” but it doesn’t seem to include text styles or anything else useful from the text window. Any thoughts? Thanks!

I don’t think there is an easy was to do this. You could format a piece of text then add the correct text (maybe by copy and pasting from somewhere you’ve already typed it) each time and reedit it into the sequence… but I don’t think there’s an easy and quick was like pasting attributes.

You’d use Motion with the AutoMotion plug from Digital Heaven to do that.

In order not to select settings every time I type a subtitle, I’ve superimpose the same subtitle and change the text. It works EXCEPT:
when I save it in the subtitle Bin in the browser, all the other subtitles in the Bin instantly take on the same Name.
Any suggestion how to save the new subtitle?
