When I copy one mask from layer 1 into layer 2, the mask is automatically adjusting to a smaller size.

I want to just copy a mask from one layer and paste it into another without any modifications.

Or, isn’t there some way to apply one Mask to all layers beneath? That would be much better. The Help file mentions adding a mask to a Composition instead of a layer but I can’t figure out how?

What you’ll want to do is select all the layers that you want to mask then go to your Layer menu and select Pre-compose. This will create a sub-composition right in your original composition. You can create the mask on this sub-compostion and, if I understand correctly, get what you want.

    Good luck,
    Nathan
