I will apply effects and color correction to a clip and then right click copy that clip. I will then click on the other clip that I want the effects applied to, I will then choose Apply event Attributes.

I was wondering what gets applied when that is chosen.
Is there a way to only apply certain effects or attributes when choosing the Apply Attributes?

    No. It’s all or nothing.

What effects or”attributes” are being applied?
I have done it before and have had the clip change speed or not be the same start and end of the clip that i had used.

The “in” point shouldn’t change but the “out” point could if you’ve changed the speed on the original clip. According to Vegas’ help file:

The following attributes will be pasted:

    Event switches

    Audio event pitch shift

Video event playback rate and undersample rate

Video event effects and effect keyframes

    Video event pan/crop settings

    Video event velocity envelopes
