    Hello everyone,

Vegas Pro 10.0d. I have two instances of the program open – one of them is the timeline I am compiling and the other is to experiment with effects.

Each time I get an effect the way I want it for my project, I copy it from the one open vegas and paste into my timeline on the other open vegas, something I have done many times in the past. Now, every single time I hit paste it crashes the program and asks me to fill out an error report.

    Any ideas?

Thanks so much for your time.

Tom, recently I had the same problem. What I figured out was that it crashed when I pasted events with some Boris plugin applied. When I deleted the effects from the clips, the problem dissapeared.

Maybe Boris plugins or some other third party stuff is the cause.

    Hope it helps.

    Grzegorz,

Thanks for the response. I will check this out when I get back to my office. You may have hit the nail on the head, as I am using Boris on those clips and I never mentioned it in my post.

Excited to see if it’s the solution.

So you probably got the answer. Tell me if it worked.
