Paste Attribute Problem
Hello Cowheads!
I am having an intermittent problem pasting video clips into an already edited sequence using Paste Attribute function (Option V) and “Content” selection. Sometimes the video goes right into place and sometimes the new clip comes in black. I can never predict which way it will turn out. Of course I could use X and F10, but then I lose any transition that I had already used.

Paste attribute content doesn’t work properly in the current version. It worked in earlier versions. You’re probably better off doing a replace edit for what you want to do.

After writing my problem down, I decided to blow my preferences. This fixed my problem so far.
What have you heard about Paste Attributes not working with FCP 6?Best wishes,

Paste attributes using content? Yes I’ve seen that. It doesn’t work properly in my experience.
