“Passing through the lens” Effect
Hello Everyone ! Hope you’re all doing well !
I come to you to discuss about an effect i would love to achieve in after effect and i’m sure it can be super interesting to talk with you all about it. I shot a short movie recently and their is a shot where a caracter is filmed by a camera, so not the main one. What i would like to do, is create and effect where the main camera is passing through the lens of the camera that is filming the caracter, to get out in the back of this camera.
I tried to use some effects in After, such as : CC lens, Optic Compensation.
I’m fairly new to after effect and i just would like to know if you have any idea on how to achieve this particular effect, cause After trying those effects, i’m getting somewhere, and it’s cool but… I don’t know, it lacks of something ! And as i don’t really know how everything is working and all so that’s why i’m asking here ! Maybe add some chromatic aberration, or some smudge… I don’t know ! If you have any idea, please let me know 🙂 !
