I have DPX files from an Arri Scanner that has timecode embedded in it. I am doing some work on the files in AE. When I render out to DPX, new timecode is written (starting at zero). It’s making a conform pretty annoying. Anyway to keep or pass along the original timecode?

I guess you could do that. The issue is, the amount of time it would take me to go into FCP and read the timecode off the DPX stacks and then manually enter that into each new Composition, I can just reconform manually 🙂
