    I have seen a few sports spot where the players jerseys are in color but the rest of them is in black in white. Is the only way to accomplish this rotoscoping and making the rest of the picture black and white. Are there beter ways, what if you shot against a green screen?

    If it’s just a few colors that don’t match the background, you might try this, maybe along with some garbage mattes if needed:

    Hi friend, sorry to say that, but there are a few ways you can do this and the tutorial they gave you is not for any kind of images, the most used way is to roto the image (hard work) creating a mask and animating it.
    You can also use vector paint to create an alpha channel, but you have to paint it frame by frame too.
    Sorry to say that, but this kind of work is really a hard work. I you find out an easy way to do it, please let us know.
