I have Macbook pro where Mac OS 10.6 is installed. it has this specs:

    Model Name: MacBook Pro
Processor Name: Intel Core 2 Duo
    Processor Speed: 2.53 GHz
    Number Of Processors: 1
    Total Number Of Cores: 2
    L2 Cache: 6 MB
    Memory: 4 GB
    Bus Speed: 1.07 GHz
    Boot ROM Version: MBP51.0074.B01
    SMC Version (system): 1.33f8

I have Windows Xp installled thru boot camp. I have 200G for my Mac and 120G for my Windows. Since im alwats worked on videos, I bought a 1TB WD studio Edition with FW800 it’s already formatted for mac (with one partition). Now, my question is, what’s the best setup for this external HD since im doing lots of video editing and motion graphics? Do i have to partition my external HD and save all the videos that I’ve captured in one the partitions? And If Id have 2 partiions, do I have to choose Mac OS X Extended(journaled) for both partitions?

    please advise.. thanks.
