    Hi,

Is there a standard way to get my ‘3d’ cloud of trapcode particular particles to have depth of field?

I want it to be a real, live depth of field so as I rotate the particle cloud, individual particles come in and out of focus.

Add a camera and turn it’s depth of field on. And in particular chose a particle that supports DOF and select Full Render + DOF in the last tab that says Render Mode

    Thank You

Ah, thanks! so simple.. for some reason I assumed I would need to ‘switch it on’ within particular.

    thanks

Although, I believe only the most recent version of Particular has this capability. For the longest time, I had to make due with a version that could not let particles be affected by depth of field… X(
