I have a camera backing up thru a bunch of pictures that are being used as particles thru Particulars custom particle setting. I have a comp with 100 pics in it that I dropped into my main comp and shut off the eye and used it for particular. I have the setting on Random Still Frame. It all looks great except it keeps showing the same dang pic over and over real close to each other. it hasnt even shuffled thru all the pics before it shows that same freaking pic 3 or 4 times….eeeerghh!! HELP Please & a BIG thank you to you all!!!

2 thoughts (one’s a guess and the other is a suggestion).

Guess: Go to Particular–> Options. There is a Random seed setting — experiment with a different number (mine was defaulting to zero)…

Suggestion: There is a “Particular” forum and I know Peder from TrapCode monitors it fairly religiously — (though I think I’ve seen him here in the AE forum as well)…

thank you thank, yes the random seed helped a bit but it still was duplicating pics just not as often. Thanks.
