    Its actually kind of simple question. I am using an emitter layer for distribution for my particles. When I make the particles gather agian to reveal the image. There is a glassy look. How do you make the particles “transition” away, but leave the image behind?

    It’s easy…
    only set the particles number to 0 after some frames and the emission of particles stop, the visible particles fall away the screen and your transition is done.
    don’t forget to precomp your particles layer and use that like a matte in your bg layer (use the option track matte that are located at the right of the layer name).
