Particular – Extra emitter points(cross hatch)
Question from the basics forum that has me stumped, pretty sure it’s something simple I’ve overlooked but now I’d really like to know the answer also.

Cross-posting my answer:
The symbol in the comp viewer panel indicates a point control: it could be any spatial control that has an [x,y] value.
For Particular, that’s the center of the emitter and the center of the spherical field (a sphere which can attract or repel particles).
For Form, that’s the center of the base form and two spherical field centers.
