Particular 2 Masking Issue
I am having some issues masking out a couple of Particular 2 layers in AE CS4.
Not sure at all what is going on here, but I cannot mask out some particular layers in a current project that I am working on.
Basically, I have some cool multi-colored particle streaks that I am trying to wrap around a subject in a video file by masking out the part of the particle stream that flows over the subject in the video clip.
I did not think this would be an issue, as I have done a good amount of rotoscoping in the past, just not with Paticular.

Try going to the visibility pulldown and choosing the layer you want to act as a mask at the obscuration layer.

You have to pre-comp particular before you can mask it,,
