    Hello everyone,
I’m trying to have a bunch of random images in z-space. I’m attempting to use particles to accomplish this. The problem I am having is when I try to get more on screen I turn the birthrate up and things go crazy so I turn it down and I don’t get the amount of images I would like. So pretty much what I’m trying to figure out how to do is have a lot of images without cranking the birthrate. Any suggestions.
I will include a screenshot to show what I’m trying to accomplish.

    Thanks

    Use a replicator instead

    Some other ideas:
Don’t use the first frame of the emitter – rather, drag it to the left and make the first frame 5+ seconds in.
Slow the speed down. Slower speed=more particles on screen.
Lengthen the life. Slower speed + longer life = more particles on screen.
