    Hello and thanks in advance

I have made an orbit path (in Z space) for my particular imitter (using video copilot preset). I want to place a picture in the middle of the orbit so the particles would circle around it. BUT when I do so when the emitter gets behind the picture is still visible.

    I am using Trapcode Particulare.

Any advice would be trully appriciated

    thanks

Particular has a feature in the ‘Visibility’ section called ‘Obscuration Layer.’ You must assign this property to the 3D layer you want to be in the center of the particles. This needs to happen because Particular is being calculated in 3D space, but resides on a 2D layer (think of it as a fancy floating flatscreen TV that happens to be able to represent things in 3D… on a 2D plane).

For this to work you will also need the layer to which Particular is assigned to reside above the ‘obscuration layer.’
