I am trying to use particles to create a snow effect that transcends several clips.
It is easy enough to do using fusion on one clip but I’d like to be able to overlay the effect on many clips.

Am I going to have to do this for every clip or can fusion affect an adjustment clip?

    Thanks

See pages 2322 and 2323 in the current (version 16) user manual. Key text here is:

“Adjustment clips can be used to apply the following types of effects:

    -ResolveFX and OpenFX plug-ins
-Inspector parameters, including Composite, Transform, Cropping, and Dynamic Zoom
    -Fusion page effects
    -Color page grading and sizing.

I think because of the speed and processor load issue, you would be better off rendering the particles, then taking that rendered clip and compositing it over the other shots, rather than doing it entirely in one operation.
