    Hi Everyone,

We were shooting a short with a 5D, and once we got the footage out and on a larger screen we noticed that there was a red dot, likely a piece of fuzz or something, in the frame. The dot is stationary and there’s plenty of movement from the actors, so it’s not going to be a simple matter of masking it out somehow. I have access to FCP 7, Color, and AE, but I’m not aware of any filters that might easily correct the problem. If I have to put in some serious time, I will, but I definitely welcome any suggestions. Here’s the image:

    Thanks,

    David

Digital Heaven has what you need for this.

Are you thinking Reincarnation? Will that work when it’s not a matter of “dead pixels,” per se?

there is a free plugin from adam wilt that can fix that.
