Hey guys this may seem like a noob question but I am using particle world: stars and I would like to add an x on every star to make it more robust, how can I achieve this?

You need to make custom particles to do that. So create a comp 200×200 and create your star with an X. Bring that into your main comp and turn off it’s eyeball. Create a solid, add Particle World and change the particle type to textured square. Open the texture Layer and choose your precomp with the star.

This probably isn’t exactly the custom star you have in mind, but here’s an example project illustrating the concept: 5745_customparticlescs5.aep.zip
